IBFF 2021 will take place December 9–12 in our first in-person event in two years due to the pandemic. A great program of premieres from eight countries, with several directors and special guests expected to attend, is planned.
Our long-term local hosting partner, the Smith Rafael Film Center (SRFC) near San Francisco, California, home of the Mill Valley Film Festival and the DocLands Festival, will be the venue. The recent Mill Valley Film Festival successfully welcomed audiences over ten days of screenings with excellent COVID precautions in place, and we plan to follow their lead.
The full program and schedule will be available the first week of November, and ticket and pass sales will begin November 8.
