10 May 2004
The International Buddhist Film Festival announced today that Tana Lehr has been appointed Associate Director, developing programming with IBFF Executive Director Gaetano Kazuo Maida.

Ms. Lehr is moving up to the Associate Director position after helping launch the IBFF at its successful Los Angeles debut in November as Program/Print Manager. Mr. Maida said, “Tana was a key component of our launch team and we’re delighted she’s accepted the job of helping grow the IBFF with our upcoming festivals in New York, San Francisco and elsewhere.”

Tana produces events and projects throughout North America for international Buddhist organizations. In addition, she is an artist who has worked in painting, sculptural installations, filmmaking, photography, sound design and event sound recording. Her work has been presented in several group shows in New York and California, including the first Gowanus Memorial Art Yard in Brooklyn and the first Creamery group show in Oakland.
